The washi zabuton is a thin, mat-like cushion made from stencil-dyed washi (traditional Japanese paper).
Despite its firmness, it has a particularly warm and pleasant texture. Over time, it develops a beautiful sheen and takes on a leather-like appearance, giving it an authentic, weathered charm.
Its water-repellent coating makes it stain-resistant and usable even when wet.
